From $17 in the Bank…
to $1 Billion in Deals Funded.
Todd Pigott didn’t start with capital, connections, or a safety net. He started with $17 in cash, cleaning buildings while attending Fresno State University, earning a degree in Construction Management.
Over the next two decades, Todd built one of California’s largest facility maintenance companies, scaling to more than 400 employees. That growth wasn’t accidental. It was earned through discipline, grit, and relentless execution.
While building that company, Todd was also quietly acquiring and rehabbing commercial, industrial, and multifamily properties, eventually narrowing his focus to single-family homes. He learned the business from the studs out—construction, valuation, risk, and execution.
Then came a life-changing auto accident. Instead of slowing down, Todd got clear. He doubled down on what mattered most: real estate and finance.
In 2006, he founded ZINC Financial—a private real estate lending company built by operators, for operators.
