This month our featured investor is Frank Ortiz of FraMar Realty, Inc. Frank has been thriving in the housing industry since 1979. He started his career as an architect, and since moving into property investment, he has put his architectural skills to work on fix and flip projects. Frank is a licensed real estate broker in both California and Florida. He is also a licensed contractor in California and Arizona. Frank’s impressive set of design, technical, and real estate skills have contributed to a long and successful career in the property investment industry.
Frank used to focus on fix and flip investments, but this year he has changed his focus to buy and hold real estate opportunities. As Frank puts it, “The market has become very tight. Inventories are still very low, and REOs have become a thing of the past. When it comes to the house flipping market, I feel like the party is over for now.”
